Ok, I admit it, I am all in on Wipeout.
It is my biggest guilty pleasure of the summer. There is something about watching people getting bounced around the obstacle courses that just kills me. In some ways, it takes me back to my childhood and watching the awesome obstacle course at the end of Double Dare. But really, it's more the watching people get tossed around.
Last night, I pulled out my knitting while I watched. This provided its own set of challenges. First of all, you have to watch where the points of the needles end up while you're laughing uncontrollably! Second, there is is huge risk of dropped stitches. Finally, after 27 rows/2" of knitting, I realized that I had been steadily increasing rather than decreasing. Yikes! I had to rip all 2" back. Clearly, I needed to focus more of what was happening on my own lap! Oh, well. Laughter is the best medicine, right?
What's your biggest guilty pleasure of the summer?
Happy 4th of July! (a little early) Have a great weekend, and I'll be back next week with those Seattle photos plus much more...
